TOYOKEIKI Co., Ltd brings in “vehicle-mounted LP gas power generator” in February 25th. Air Water Co., Ltd developed this mobile generator, which can use LP gas to generate electricity. This is the first introduction of a vehicle-mounted generator in Nagano Prefecture.
TOYOKEIKI has established 24 hours a day, 7 days a week daily life manned monitoring center “Multi Center”, and now, it manages 180,000 clients in our country. In the past, “Multi Center” had backed up by UPS when blackout happened, but such UPSs may be unsustainable if disasters such as a great earthquake cause a long-time blackout, so we have conducted discussions on the matter to take measures against it.
Air Water Co., Ltd, which is one of major companies in gas industry, developed Vehicle-mounted LP Gas Power Generator because the Great East Japan Earthquake lets us know the importance of the need for an emergency electricity supply. LP gas is mobile energy and it is easy to ensure the fuel to generate electricity, so it is expected that it makes a difference in emergency circumstances.
This time, TOYOKEIKI has decided that it takes advantage of our own car body, but the generator part is this new device. TOYOKEIKI named this generator “Walking Gas Generator”
Introduction of the Vehicle-mounted LP Gas Power Generator, which you can take advantage of as a standby power supply, makes possible to charge the emergency power system if by any chance there is a long-time blackout in TOYOKEIKI’s “Multi Center”. It is also going to be used for a consumer- use energy- supplying device in case of emergency such as disasters. Moreover, you can make use of a solar panel to charge the battery for start-up.
TOYOKEIKI hopes that this introduction of the Vehicle-mounted LP Gas Power Generator will help to tell the society about the convenience of LP gas.
