Toyo Measurement equipment History museum

TOYOKEIKI opens Toyo Measurement equipment museum in November 1st, which is “Measurement Memorial Day”, in Uzuhashi, Matsumoto City.

A variety of valuable measurement equipment in our country and overseas is on permanent display in this museum.
This museum collects such equipment mainly given from “Hakari no yakata(means the house of measurement equipment, in Yokkaichi City, run by Mr. Kenzo Hakariya)” and has 12,000 objects in the collection is about 12,000, which is the largest number of museums in our country.
We hope we will be able to help you understand the importance of measurement by visiting this museum.

November 1st (Measurement Memorial Day), Toyo Measurement equipment History museum opens to public free of charge and Kenzo Hakariya holds commemorative lecture meeting

Toyo Measurement equipment History museum celebrates its opening anniversary by opening to the public free of charge in November 1st, which is “Measurement Memorial Day”.
There is no need for an advance reservation.

The museum also holds a commemorative lecture meeting in honor of Kenzo Hakariya, who is the donator of most of the objects in our museum’s collection and had run his own museum ”Hakari no Yakata (means the house of measurement equipment)”
