TOYOKEIKI “IoT-R” achieves total sales of 3 million units

The total sales of "IoT-R", IoT communication terminal for AMR developed by TOYOKEIKI, has reached 3,006,605 units as of August 3 2023, exceeding 3 million units. It took 4 years and 8 months since it was first introduced on October 26, 2018.
"IoT-R" is a communication device that can operate for 10 years on battery. When connected to a meter or sensor, it uses KDDI's mobile phone network to automatically send meter readings, information of gas leaks and long-time gas use to the monitoring center. The installation is simple, and since the communication rate is fixed, you can collect the necessary information such as hourly and daily meter readings at your preferred frequency.
Not only for gas meter readings, but now it has been widely used on such as automatic reading and leakage detection of water meter, monitoring the amount of fuel left, industrial gas management at factories.
For the domestic market, we provide various services utilizing IoT-R, such as e-statement, delivery navigation, and prepaid system etc. Also, we have a monitoring center in-house, which corresponds to the information from about 3 million household’s 24 hours.
We aim to achieve sales of 4 million units by the end of the fiscal year at earliest, also plan to expand our monitoring center to handle 5 million household’s cases.
