TOYOKEIKI Co., Ltd. Holds Naming Rights Ceremony with Shinshu University

TOYOKEIKI Co., Ltd. held a naming rights ceremony at Shinshu University’s Matsumoto Campus at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 22, based on an agreement concluded as the first project under Shinshu University’s naming rights program.
The ceremony was attended by Soichiro Nakamura, President of Shinshu University; Mitsukimi Sugimoto, Director of the Center for General Education, Shinshu University; Yasumasa Tsuchida, President of TOYOKEIKI; and Akinori Ishida, Managing Director of TOYOKEIKI. Under the agreement, Lecture Room No. 20 in the General Education Building No. 1 (West Wing) at Shinshu University will also be referred to as the “TOYOKEIKI Lecture Room” for a five-year period from September 29, 2025, through September 28, 2030.

As a company headquartered in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture and engaged in essential infrastructure, TOYOKEIKI applied for this naming rights program with the aim of contributing to the local community through collaboration with Shinshu University, the only national university in Nagano Prefecture.
The water meters and gas meters provided by TOYOKEIKI are familiar measurement instruments supporting everyday infrastructure. By integrating these meters with IoT technologies, the Company promotes digital transformation (DX) through automated meter reading, enhances safety in gas metering, and provides services such as elderly monitoring in water metering while continuing to create new value in measurement.
Through this initiative, TOYOKEIKI expects to increase awareness of its activities among those who use the University’s lecture room. The Company also believes that this will promote the exchange of human resources and technical expertise with the University, encourage graduates to remain in the region, and contribute to the revitalization of the local community.
